Another 650 million pours into India

The Economic Times noted recently that Norwest Venture Partners were raising a new fund targeted at Technology funds in the U.S and India.

As a reminder, Norwest is headed by Pramod Haque, a renowned VC in the Silicon Valley. Norwest has already invested in India firms like Yaatra Online and Persistent systems.

The article mentions that the fund will focus on cross border investments -- firms based in the U.S with presence in India. it will focus on investments in the consumer, mobile and media sectors in India.

Cheers.
